Hello there! I’m Catherine, Founder of DLBelle

Becoming a competitive powerlifter was, and still is, an empowering journey for me. That empowerment flows into so many aspects of my life and inspires my commitment to the sport. Training hard and building successful habits makes me feel like I can accomplish anything. Competition days should be opportunities to celebrate everything we’ve gained and how good we feel. And, of course— to shine!

But let’s flashback to my first meet for a sec. With a ton of excitement, I remember spending evenings searching online for my gear. It turns out, within the competition rules, socks were going to be my ONLY chance to express any flair. 

As I searched, couldn’t find styles that reflected my newfound strength and personality. The selection of monotone tube socks and cartoony trends missed the mark for me. I wanted more elegant designs and bold colors that matched my taste and growing confidence in and out of the gym. 

Nodding along in agreement during training one day, my coach said, “You probably aren’t the only one, you should design your own.”

And just like that, DLBelle was born.

I started DLBelle for female powerlifting athletes.

My vision is to design comfortable, high-quality apparel in a diverse range of sizes, colors, and designs. Because this sport demands discipline and routine, our gear needs to add an extra buzz of motivation and beauty when you put it on. 

And when you are at the gym, you can enjoy the delight of unexpected colors dancing among the vinyl and iron on the floor.

My hope is that these socks are a reminder that every part of who you are absolutely belongs in the gym.

I want you to feel flawless.
